I don’t think it’s unreasonable for a studio head to point out that full time sustainable roles are not always possible right now. A full time permanent role that has to be laid off at the end of the project is actually just a contract where you were paid less and given false hope.

I don't think "claude write me some automated tests" is enough - it makes passing tests, but they're not very maintainable or readable. Come to my workshops below and I'll show you how to write test for gamedev. In our AI codeslop future, at least you can see what the AI is doing wrong!

I can never understate how automated tests - not unit tests - using my custom framework have improved my productivity. Tests are focused on tricky code, unobvious behaviors or when combinatorial explosion would make manual testing redhibitory. (capture is in slowed down mode)

We're able to do a lot with a small team on Dosa Divas with the help of a bunch of custom tools like our TestRun tool built by Justin our lead programmer. The tool will autoplay through the game at a faster speed to check for any obvious bugs using Unity's built in Navmesh agent.
