Didn't take many pictures/photos today the @takona.co.uk cars and coffee meet but I thought I'd share this absolute stunner of a Rover with you 😮❤️

We’ve been a bit quiet lately, to be quite honest it’s because there’s a few too many things pulling on the attention span, projects, videos, ideas, they take bandwidth. We did however get to change a light board at spa to say Its Ok To Tlk.

Have been playing with an idea. A little torn between whether this needs to be simpler and bolder prototype camo, or whether to keep it matching the car.

Went to Bristol today to visit the university for the first of many open days for my eldest. But spotted this sculpture while walking round the city for suicide prevention awareness.

Went to Silverstone, saw some old cars moving rather quickly.

Witnessed the epitome of motorway drivers not paying attention to their surroundings as a police car struggled to get anyone in the outside lane to move over this morning. One caveat is that it was an unmarked 3 series and they may have thought it was standard outside lane behaviour.

Have been less visible online lately and for good reason, using the daily phone with no social media apps installed has helped minimise the distraction that social media brings. One draw back is that this photo of my view while fixing the Saab in a pub car park is not quite as sharp as the iPhone.

New podcast episode has gone live this evening with Nathan Chadwick- Car Journalist and writer. The podcast is going to be a little more sporadic in its frequency for the foreseeable as we continue trying to get the core part of Takona to a more consistent and sustainable place.

The four stages of putting these stickers together. Black outline, red lower colour, green upper colour, white background. It’s all done by eye and it’s very fiddly. Worth it.
