it would be so awesome if yall didn’t only wear masks at explicitly political actions and instead saw your choice to wear a mask in, at the very least, public indoor spaces at the political action it is: one in direct opposition to the eugenic policies we’re being forced to live under.

Masks are under serious threat at being banned widely due to politicization. This would be a public health disaster. If you are only wearing a mask at protests, please consider also wearing them elsewhere. The more people mask, the more we normalize masks and protect them against bans.

A bird couple built a nest outside our living room window and we are VERY excited that they have some baby birds as of a couple days ago! We have named the bird family: Parents Conan (he has red feathers) and Marge Byrd and their children: Bort, Liza, Magpie, Santa’s Little Helper, and Snowball 3.

!!! Been following this Alex Graham mess because I followed her work and was even briefly a paying Patron. But her latest comic and doubled down “explanation” are inexcusable. She is SO privileged she doesn’t even realize it. So gross.

This means that while I could get a shot, my boyfriend, who I live with and needs to protect me, wouldn’t, which is very concerning. That’s just one small personal reason I’m against this, not to mention how it affects EVERYONE. Covid doesn’t choose who it disables and harms. All are vulnerable.

My favorite thing to throw at folks who are able bodied enough to mask but don’t because it’s “uncomfy” and they “can’t breathe” is that I have part of my lung removed and can breathe in masks totally fine for hours at a time. My lung was collapsed and I still wore a mask over my cannula. Grow up.

We were out and about and saw a sign for an “estate sale” that was just some folks set up out in a parking lot, they had this pink cabinet for only $10 and we knew we needed it to complete our bedroom. It now houses some of our VHS collection. I may never leave this room now.

I haven’t seen it brought up how autistic people used to be institutionalized. They would send neurodivergent people away to asylums, or have them lobotomized like Rosemary Kennedy. So RFK can fuck off with his idea that this is some new epidemic. People just aren’t hidden away or controlled anymore
