I have amended my pipe-dream writing goal from “Publish 10 books” to “publish at least one of my books before I die”, which seems much more reasonably achievable. 😶‍🌫️😄

Very wise words. It can feel so hard to put our work out for judgement or critique - a lot of feelings are involved. I always surprise myself with how many feels I have post- #RevPit each year, and this is my 6th year submitting! Losing a contest doesn’t mean you or your book have any less value. ❤️

Revisited some of my old books and wonder if I've regressed as a writer. These stories have some super cool parts?? It totally must have been someone else, because current-me could *never*. (rinse, repeat next year with another book)

I have toddlers, so my writing spaces are transient. A friend called it writing with "confetti time", and that's basically my MO. I write while making dinner, on post-it's near my workspace, I type edits/thoughts/plot epiphanies on my phone while waiting for child pickups, etc #RevPitWaiting #RevPit

Low-energy day, so taking some recharge time with comfort k-dramas and cuddling the mini humans. ❤️ (Also figured out I cannot watch certain kdramas with them around! “Bon Appetit Your Majesty” was not what I expected 😅😂 )
