As a pump having no limbs means anyone can just pick it up and tape the hose stuck in myself, and nothing I can do but pump. Air only ever goes in, it's not a fancy electric one with a reversal option. If you need it to be a pillow, bed... or even a blimp. It can only pump in response

Entrapped by your own body, having been inflated to the point of removing all mobility from you. You feel the brushstrokes across your person, removing your personality bit by bit under the coat of a single, immutable color. Helpless. Hopeless. Permanently stuck as a mere balloon with no escape.

Being into object transformation has been such a blessing as artist. I struggle a lot with anatomy, but a simple balloon or pump I can easily handle (hehe). If instead I did my character in its regular pooltoy form I'd take hours just to draw a good pose. And it doesn't even have fingers!!

Fighting with @moffballoon.bsky.social over who can blow up balloons the fastest. Of course, not without stakes to whoever loses :3

I like to imagine someone saying "pump" causes an instinctive reaction in me. Making me immediately push down my handle and force air down without much thought. Which becomes a dangerous thought if that hose of mine would ever be connected to myself
