one big difference i've found with blob icons vs blimp is it's surprisingly tougher to make body to fill the BG, behind the head. if you want the weight to be 'pushed up' to fill that space, it makes the face wider & worse at filling a square/circle crop. not impossible, there's just fewer solutions
