feeling bad about my appearance has had deleterious effects on my mental health, which has had downstream effects on my physical health. it's just previously been difficult to spend money on "vanity" without feeling shame and foolishness. but i think i really need to find a way in 2026

i know that if you have an image and a height, you can math out the weight. i wish there were tools to better visualize it the other way, though, with maybe a library of exaggerated body shapes. it's hard to hear a certain number and then try to figure out what that actually looks like

i really love doing character design work - it's a ton of fun to try things and spitball ideas back and forth with the client and solve the different problems. it winds up being a LOT of work, though. i used to charge them like any other flat color image, but it's really like 1.5x-3x the amount
