Woke up to the news that Pink Punters, the LGBT nightclub in Milton Keynes, has been destroyed by fire - suspected arson. I’m utterly heartbroken, Pink Punters was the first place I was truly out “as” Amy, and I still visited it regularly with friends. Made so many memories in the pink room… 😢

My latest movie review is Antoine Fuqua's biopic of Michael Jackson, imaginatively named "Michael". Although well-intentioned, its decision to focus only on the first twenty years of his career leaves it with no conflict to drive it, and the movie ends up as merely a jukebox of his hits.

The Great Wall - Zhang Yimou’s fantasy epic from 2016 starring Matt Damon, Jing Tian and Pedro Pascal - may have been a bit silly, with its serious strategy meetings about defending China from invading hellhounds. But I keep coming back to it for the armour design; it’s absolutely gorgeous work!

In Medieval 2: Total War, the Papal States were usually unplayable. But by editing a config file, you could assume direct control of the Pontiff and his Swiss Guard, and embark on a campaign to conquer Europe! You could also excommunicate other rulers at will. I wouldn’t call that weak on crime… 😁

Lets review Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge on Genesis! Link: almagaming.wolfpack.xyz/gameblogP13.... This game is awful and is the worst game I have ever played on the Genesis bar none. I'm not even hiding the rating for this review. A shame for a game with really great music. Enjoy!

Funny coincidences: The other day I played a mission in Spider-Man 2 where you fly with pigeons to lead them to a new home. It’s a peaceful experience set to “Seabird” by the Alessi Brothers. Now I’m on holiday in Switzerland. In a coffee shop for breakfast, and what song should be playing…? 😅

Spider-Man/X-Men - Arcade's Revenge is easily one of the worst genesis games I ever played in my life. Im not even hiding the fact that when I review this its going to get a 1 or even a 0.
