Started up Tekwar today and have been playing it for a while today! Me, @seldum.bsky.social and @shnick1985.bsky.social ended up watching the first movie because I wanted to get an idea of the game we were going into The game matches the movies energy in weirdness, for sure! Hope its fun though.

I went ahead and installed Final Fight MD on my Capcom Dynamo style cabinet just because I can and I think it's quite good! I can still tell it has less colors available than the coin op version but the colors look appealing to me anyway!

Me and @seldum.bsky.social did a run of the game Vindicators! An arcade game from 1988 that has you destroy bases with tanks! Its a fun but challenging game that's purely skill based! I ALSO won the shirt contest at the end! Sadly, the contest expired :( I still enjoyed my run with Seldum!❤️

Did a run of Sonic R! I beat this a ton as a kid since I had this on PC. I played the Saturn version way later and yes, PC is better. You can find an awesome repack for this if you look hard that is THE definitive way to play! A great game to 100% since its pretty fast to do so!

As a casual Pokémon fan, I wish it was easier to find romhacks that are like “we added exp share or fixed the level gap in wild Pokémon in SoulSilver to minimize the grind” but it seems all I can ever find are “welcome to the Competitive Fuck You Mod. Every gym leader now has six level 100 Pokémon.”

Next game to beat: Portal Runner! Its a story about toys and stuff coming to life at night in a shop and their boxes are portals to their worlds. I like the gameplay so far but it could fall apart at any time so crossing fingers hard!

Avatar: The Way of Water is much the same as the original - all style, no substance. But its focus on Jake’s kids gives it a new perspective, and Sigourney Weaver’s performance is terrific. It just doesn’t need to be 3 hours long… Two down, one to go! 😁
