At #ASHA24 there were 2 papers of systematic reviews of #GestaltLanguageProcessing by SEPARATE research groups! 1. Ours - systematic review - empty 2. Theirs - systematic review - empty Ours had a tighter inclusion criteria. So even a looser inclusion criteria made no difference to the result.

I feel very strongly that Person Centred Emergency Preparedness should be considered for all people with #aphasia & their immediate family. We surveyed folks this year & identified extreme vulnerability & dependence on others during emergencies. Work to do to close this gap.

I submitted a request to the Australian Bureau of Statistics to include Developmental Language Disorder in the 2026 Census. Didn't make the cut this time, but it will be considered for 2031. Might need to rally the #DevLangDis community for next time!
