With extensive reading on #GLP #NLA, I kept seeing this stat: 85% of #autistic people use echolalia. That stat comes from a 1960s study that showed only 46% of the study sample (75% of the speaking kids) echoed. Read more: link.springer.com/article/10.1... @rebeccasutherland.bsky.social

So @lucyebryant.bsky.social and I would like to know —- for our narrative review - can you please help us? ⁉️ What “ingredients” of GLP/NLA approach are used in therapy? ⁉️ What outcomes: seen or measured? We will think on your replies to help us look closely in books for those things.

In a systematic review of #GLP #NLA, qualitative data about lived experience is important, too. Treatment effectiveness matters, but so does the human experience and acceptability of the intervention or support. We didn't find any qualitative evidence either #BskySPEECHIES
