FWIW the vast majority of shipping accidents are caused by human error. My money is on an unattended bridge. Nothing much else makes sense with all the tech on offer. But eyes are as useful as tech.

Hello, Iām dining on my own. Iād like you to ask me several times if Iām on my own please, then seat me on the table nearest the toilets, then ostentatiously remove the second set of cutlery while asking me again if Iām on my own. Otherwise it just wouldnāt be right.

My gripe about the other place was not about being screamed at. I tried really hard to get people to yell at me but I always got off lightly. (Though Iāll always remember the man who said I have a paunch). It was the pitiful interaction. Less & less & less until there was nowt.
