Since I'm feeling really nostalgic about the high school days, I remember flash drives being released and my school store selling them for 20 bucks and it holding 512MB. Me and my friend would discovered emulators and just loaded those drives up with games instead of projects.

Random thought of the day, I remember in high school they really pressed hard into me that any information I grab I had to make a page to site my sources. Any quote, any data I gave had to be cited. So I'm wondering if today's school environment is still teaching that.

I'm a bit down with a lot of things happening in my life but one is I feel is my passion for gaming dying. I'm not sure if it's me, the lack of time for it, or if it's the current client of gaming but I'm not as strongly attached to it like I was maybe 10 or even 20 years ago.

Learn to love failure. Failure shows you where you're weak at and helps you to improve for the next attempt. You are going to fail A LOT in starting any hobby. The trick is pressing on regardless even when the brain wants you to give up and keep you safe from future failures.

Trying out Metaphor: Re Fantazio and first impressions? It's medieval fantasy persona. That's not a bad thing. If the formula works it works. Only difference is MC doesn't have access to multiple 'personas' when out in the field. You gotta plan what you need before hand. Thumbs up so far.

So an course program I brought that I left to gather dust gotten a revisit today. Realized one of the courses wants me to try out ZBrush and other courses popped up being really excited about this program. Google it annnnnnnnnd it's a 399/yr subscription program. Fun. Just fun.

Meant to say, I reached day 365 of drawing yesterday. I did have a project planned but life sadly demanded and still demands my time. It will be something I'll work on when things calm down.

No matter how much they're going to spin it I will say this. Innocent people from now on have to watch the skies because of one man. A lot of folks here are telling what needs to be done. I'm also going to say..do not let this be swept under the rug. He wants that. For us to forget and move on.

Other news, party went off without a hitch. It was really just eating food and just taking a moment to breath but everyone liked it. CEO was there though which was unexpected and odd. Came in, ate and left without a word. So uh, may be in trouble. We'll see.

Finished Mother of Learning Arc 1 and I can say without a doubt I want to know MORE of this series. What the protagonist is going to do now. What kept me listening with this audiobook was that the protagonist wasn't initially the hero of the story, someone else was.

Somehow I ended up organizing an impromptu Christmas party on monday for the night shift by complaining about how the company cancelled ours. What's weird is though, I'm super introverted but I went ahead and just asked folks if they were willing to part a small sum for food.

Alright so I finished listening to %1 Lifesteal by Robert Blaise on my shift. I wish the book had done more, and not in the way of it was exciting and I wanted more. More as in, I wish they at tied things up better here if not at all. Let's start with what I did like:

A friend of mine really needs to get his bills for the month paid and being going at it hard with projects for a few months. I really want him to get a little wiggle room to relax. Please consider buying one or two of his sketches.

I feel dumb. Spent the entire day suffering and in bed rest. Migraine so bad I had to call off work once more and pressure against my eye. I couldn't eat cause nausea was bad too. Then I took Excedrin and all the symptoms faded after some time. So feel bad I let myself suffer all day for no reason.

Sometimes you just need to be rude for your health. Had to drive an hour with my cousin and two sick kids to visit family out of city and now caught a nasty cold. I should have just put on the mask. Now I feel like crap and have to use up PTO I didn't want to use yet.

Made a call as I realized the prepayment I made was never applied to anything and was just floating in the ether. So in short, start to get vocal and call who you need to if something don't seem right to you. But also do it so with respect. That person is just working a 9-5 too like you are.

So folks it's day 320 of me at least drawing one simple shape everyday. And I'm nearing the end of it. So I want to ask you guys something. What should I do for day 365? I feel I should cap it off with something.

Along with this, my old DM is offering me a wedding invite despite us being states apart and it's confusing for me. I never well been invited myself to things. Usually I'm invited via association of family. But a friend asking me to come see them feels nice.

And Hades 2 main story is complete. I agree it's Hades but more and that's not a bad thing. There are changes and even two areas to go through and the game is more fine tuned then the first. The ending was emotional and had a good time playing it. Now to play the end content of it.

How I feel about Inzoi after being stuck with it and not realizing it used AI generation. I wanted to refund the game so bad but I can't. The game was soulless even before I knew this. It felt all flash and zero game. Nothing connected or clicked with me. It just felt like I was doing busywork.

Alright then, three of the indies I expected to be there are there for game of the year. I have a feeling Expedition 33 is going to be taking home a lot of hefty awards. Best score feels like a neck and neck between it and Hades 2 though.
