Both priest AND organist were sick this morning, and we couldn’t find a substitute organist in time… so high mass was unaccompanied this morning! Always feels like a blessing in disguise when there’s unexpectedly no organ, since it shows us we can all sing our parts (and well!) without it.

If on any year there be twenty-six Sundays after Trinity, the service for the Sixth Sunday after the Epiphany shall be used on the Twenty-fifth Sunday. And NOTE, That the service from the aforesaid Sunday after Epiphany shall be used with the following Propers: Introit. Dixit Dominus.
