Y’all can complain all you want about sports announcers and their clichés, but understand this: we’re ABSOLUTELY doing it on purpose. 😈 Sometimes, it’s a game to see who can conjure up the most ridiculous cliché.

When announcing roller derby, I usually refer to the crowd as "ladies and gentlemen, gays and theys" to be inclusive, but at today's bouts, I switched it up and used "everypony" instead and chat, let me tell you—nopony enjoyed that.
