The majority of the signatories to this letter are mayors whose cities are absolutely terrible at allowing new housing. Windsor's mayor won't even support fourplexes, but seems to think violating the charter rights of the most vulnerable will help alleviate the housing crisis. Reprehensible.

We should do a federal e-bike subsidy of, idk, $1.5k - 2k that is unconditional and universal (ie, no means testing). Places that have tried this in the US can barely keep up with demand. The payback to social health and infrastructure is worth exponentially more than the subsidies.
