We're in the dog days of summer, & our camps are in full swing. We're happy to share that we have more than 4,000 youth in our summer camps, including nearly 1,200 campers supported by $1.2 million in scholarships.

Six temporary large-scale sculptures by world-renowned Mexican artist Betsabeé Romero have been installed along the JFK Promenade in Golden Gate Park, reenergizing the permanently car-free space & highlighting sustainability.

A mythic creature has begun to surface in the heart of Golden Gate Park. A radiant, 100-foot-long, 25-foot-tall sea serpent named Naga—first unveiled at Burning Man 2024—is close to completing its installation at Rainbow Falls along the JFK Promenade on SF’s Golden Mile.

The SF Bay Sox program & Baseball for All hosted a doubleheader late last month at the South Sunset Playground baseball field. 36 girls, ages 7-8, played—many coming from the Bay Sox program & SF Youth Baseball, though there were also several first-time players.
