if I made it out of low-level with a 2200XP peak, so can you maybe I'll write a guide (or something similar) at some point, but the tl;dr is to meet people at and above your skill level, play with them and grind open-level pickups, and think about how to improve your gameplay as much as you can

The comp splatoon scene has talked a lot about solo q getting you fast, frequent games for practice, but there’s an additional underutilized benefit: You can vod review any game you want, *immediately* after playing it. That’s either impossible or impractical with all other forms of practice.
