My week has been things back to back to back! This morning granted me a 2 hour snow delay and I'm trying not to let the things gobble up the peaceful feeling I achieved.

The world is feeling like a lot. I just want to curl up and read.

One of my middle school boys loves to ask me what I'm having for dinner -he's delightfully food focused and I'm here for it. #teaching #middleschool

Yesterday I set a ten minute timer to help a student focus enough and read and we both sat there in the bean bag chairs and read -side by side. Another student saw us and said, "Shh, Kauf and Ben are reading."

This morning at the Minnesota State Capitol. An ice sculpture that reads "PROSECUTE ICE". I'm told the organization behind the sculpture is Common Defense.

I swear my feed is half people freaking out over the horrors and half people posting pictures of nature to recover from the horrors.

Tuesday feels like Monday when a kid spills the entire pencil sharpener on the floor first period. #teaching
