Op de Ruusbroecdag in Antwerpen zijn maar liefst 5 boeken voorgesteld: Tine Van Osselaer en Robrecht Neyrinck presenteerden Goddelijke Gerechten en Daniël Ermens en ik stelden 4 boeken voor die we met John Arblaster en Tine Van Osselaer samenstelden rond de collectie van de erfgoedbibliotheek.

Ik zou nee gaan zeggen tegen dingen maar toen werd ik voor iets héél leuks gevraagd.

Het budget dat je kunt aanvragen is ruim 3 ton. In principe is de Veni een postdoc van 3 jaar, maar in het kader van de bezuinigingen heeft de Faculteit Geesteswetenschappen van de UU besloten dat werknemers die een Veni binnenhalen nog maar 1 jaar van hun tijd vrij kunnen maken voor dit onderzoek.

Toch nog even: wat nou als die noodsituatie uitbreekt als ik op mijn werk ben? Heeft iemand daar een plan voor? Of zal ik voor het hele gebouw water inslaan en hopen dat iemand anders de dekens regelt?
