That feeling when you discover your previous co-worker left over 500kb of package imports that are completely unused, being loaded from the base template that gets loaded from every single page in a e-commerce website. 😱 I said to my client: well, we have bad news and very good news.

I did a thing. It was quite fun. It's a CSS palette generator , where you can apply the generated palette to the app itself and see how it would looks in a real app. Pick base color and the app creates related colors. Adjust the colors. Export CSS. Or hit that one shot button, that the most fun.

You know what would be cool is if all of us in our jobs could just pack up and start to leave 3/4 of the way through the work day, and require a standing ovation to come back and do the rest of the work day, like a band in concert pretending to leave before 'encore'.

Trying out oxlint and oxfmt. Really not having a good time with the linter and the formatter agreeing on how to sort imports. The linter gives a warning after the formatter sorts it. Also, it looks like its sorting based on the path instead of the name of the import?? Thats weird. @voidzero.dev

My hot take of the day: I don’t care for emojis. I might use them once in a while, but only like use maybe 6 different ones. There’s so many emojis everywhere now, and not just the ones AI puts everywhere.

@polypane.app is amazing. I got the trial a couple days ago and it's already helped me fix a bug that's been on my backlog for weeks, and it was something that only happened on certain mobile devices I don't own to test on. It was a breeze fixing it today. I am definitely purchasing a license now.

Today was the first time i coded something agentically. Only used AI as autocomplete until now, for simple things. And only used it for something I thought I'd like to have, for my own use, so I don't care about code quality.

It's important to have good technique when working with AI.
