Canada’s new Defence Industrial Strategy will transform our military and defence supply chains — creating good careers at home, opening new markets for our businesses, and equipping the Canadian Armed Forces with the world-class equipment they need to protect Canada and our Allies.

Canada is now the first non-European country to be granted a membership in SAFE. This is a gamechanger program that means Canada can rearm our Canadian Armed Forces members more effectively and scale up our defence industries with more contracts overseas.

We can be sure that a) any deal will be bad for Ukraine and b) any deal will somehow line Trump et al’s pockets.
