What's frustrating is that, because of YouTube's ridiculously strict yet inconsistent rules, you can't get animated media that actually IS aimed at kids or contain graphic content (i.e., sex scenes, extreme violence, etc.). I'd kill to get more indie cartoons that just embrace being transgressive.

We can go back and forth all day about the age range for TADC's target audience by at the core of it, it dont matter. If youre a creator, think about how exactly to distribute your work so its not solely dependent on YouTube who can just SHUT OFF your money for any reason it wants. Diversify.

Gonna keep banging this drum but Indie Animation CANNOT survive on YouTube, the platform that can WITHOUT NOTICE change its algorithm or or deny you the audience you need to make your show sustainable.
