Top cut healing quick! Growth energy has already shifted by the swell to focus on the two mains, but she looks like she’s going to adapt to training lateral branches without issue. Her sisters are a week behind but catching up rapidly with 6th nodes nearly developed.

Her 6th node leaves opened and grew fully flat so I made the cut. Soon she’ll be trained into the mom she’s meant to be.

Still anxiously waiting to make the cut. Sixth node leaves are open, but not flat and my top cut point is still a bit too soft for my liking. Waiting another day to ensure a rapid response recovery. It has to be perfect. She is the main mother plant that will clone into the farm.

The Tahoe Animal is a late finisher by genetics. She tends to stack heavily during her last few weeks pushing out huge calyxes. I’m impressed with the density and weight for such an early flip. TA has become a favorite, offering a cerebral punch of curiosity and creativity. Terps are loud and gassy.

PGC update: Getting close, looks like 10-14 more days. She’s small bud, let’s hope she’s mighty. 😋

They’re so beautiful at this stage. Topping and mom training begin soon, maybe 24-36 hours.

Time consuming, but 4 big square bricks makes 15 pots with amendments and room for top dressing later. Prepping now gives the trace minerals time to begin breaking down before clones are taken. The silica, calcium and magnesium should be readily available by that time. #NessaBarrett

Paid for lot crop permit on 2/5, guess what? I finally got it today after several daily repeated emails. Anyway, PGC & TA got that top heavy lean and about 2 weeks, maybe longer. They’re slow finishers but tend to stack the last couple of weeks. I already started flushing. I am so ready!

Looking to be a worthy Mom candidate. Tight nodes, explosive growth. Just a bit longer for topping at fully developed 6-7 nodes. Then lateral training begins.Rinse & Repeat…

I went for quality over quantity for the grow and achieved that. My first run with using a coco coir mix.

Storming and wind gusts are crazy! We made some structural improvements over the past week so should be good. Moved my lemon tree in there out of the high winds. Its long needles are very sharp! Roses took a hit but she bounces back quick.

Waiting on the top node on bigger plant to fully open before she gets topped. Possibly tonight, maybe tomorrow. Had some deformity on the smallest, but she adjusted and is rebounding quite nicely. Can’t wait to move these ladies out to the greenhouse and prep them to be moms.

The fabric pot was much more forgiving. I thought surely it was big enough for three coco bricks… Thunderstorming and brainstorming today!

This seedling had barely a visible tap root and leaves yellowed and dried up. I left it alone because I didn’t need the pot and I have been too busy. Out of nothing but a tiny bare tap root, life proves we all have one main objective: to keep living. So think of this seedling when you feel defeated.
