Hey Bluesky Another busy day, finally on here. Roxy got her first vet visit today and everything is good. She needs a dental cleaning so we will have that done soon. Vet says she looks good. Estimates she is between 5 or 6 years old, we don't know what breed she is so we will do a DNA test soon.

Good Morning Bluesky It's Tuesday and yeah I haven't been on much but a new dog takes a lot of time and attention and she is going to get as much as she needs. Especially a rescue dog.

Roxy feels at home! She is settling in really fast. Learning basic commands and fitting in with a schedule. It helps to have had dogs and know obedience training, our rottweilers all had obedience titles. She will benefit from our experience. She is really smart too!

Did some training today. Working on "come" and "sit". She learns quickly. Introduced her to the toothbrush so once she gets a dental cleaning we can keep her teeth clean. That's enough for today. Now she's resting on my lap watching football

Happy Sunday morning! She is settling in really well. She has found her place in bed with us, she's like a furry hot water bottle. She is loving all the attention we are giving her. Getting ready to take her out for morning walk after breakfast.

Been a long day, haven't been on much, been getting to know the dogs wants, thirsty, hungry, has to go out, wants to cuddle. She really is a lap dog! All she wants to do is be with us. Makes me wonder if she got much attention. Still haven't heard her bark. She talks alot though. Lots of kisses too.

Ok coffee time! Can't start the day without coffee! Usually have a bowl ready but I don't want to get our dog stoned. Time to catch up on what's happening in our crazy world, well until pup wants attention then the phone goes away.
