Finished Cronos: The New Dawn. Genuinely loved this game and found the story and conclusion to be gutsy. This game in the best way wasn’t what I thought it was, it ended up surprising me not just in content but quality. I recommend if you are a fan of survivor horror, and mind bending sci-fi.

The more of Cronos I play, the less like Dead Space it feels, and that’s a good thing. The game is utterly unique, and I’m more fascinated by the message and mystery of it all than the horror, something I was not expecting going in. Blooper has dramatically improved how they do combat as well.

It’s kind of mind blowing to realize it took 915 Pentium III computers hours to render a single scene in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and now we have games like Death Stranding 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 doing even better graphics in real time, in a single machine that can sit under your television.

Watching after a VERY long time Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within. I maintain this movie is very good, and way ahead of its time. I will also maintain the biggest problem the film has is the name. It’s not Final Fantasy, and because of the name it suffered with fans and was rejected by non-gamers.

Really want this movie to be okay, at best. But it feels very like a "Fuck you, it's January" kind of movie. The look for James and Maria do not sell me as people who know what the story really means. I do think it's cool one of the actresses from Silent Hill 2 Remake is playing the same character.

I can't imagine the person who ultimately made the decision to sell this to Netflix ever being able to land a job in Hollywood again. Netflix may now have the rights, but Sony has the animation studio. Here's hoping Sony uses that leverage to get the sequel into theaters properly.

I completely understand why vinyl has comeback. It's big, pretty, can be hung on a wall, and it still has the best audio fidelity. But cassettes? Not sure I get that, I thought we all agreed magnetic tapes degrade quickly. VHS for horror will get a pass, it's lack of clarity added to the scares.

This is a genuinely amazing film. I have so many questions about what happened with this movie, I think no one expected this to become the landmark sensation it has. I am sure people were fired over misjudging it. But I am glad it is a hit, and glad it is something everyone loves.

I’ve determined that watching a non-gamer make choices in Detroit: Become Human can be very telling about someone. A gamer will make crazy choices to see all outcomes, but a non-gamer will act on their natural instincts and boy are those instincts revealing.
