A Trump-Musk memo telling US government employees to hide what’s happening from the public is a sign that: 1) Public legitimacy is a constraint for them, they know it, and will at times alter their behavior accordingly 2) Reporters should focus on it, revealing more of what they’re trying to hide

They slipped anti-fascist poems into the pockets of soldiers. They wrote fake letters in German, urging new recruits to desert. They stole propaganda posters and cut them up into resistance flyers, which they hid inside cigarette boxes and left around town for soldiers to find.

I accidentally recorded myself saying I love you to Michael before I headed to the police station to discuss a local case and didn’t realize I’d sent it to the detective until it was too late (thankfully he laughed about it). 😬😱😂

The Indigenous People of North America have decided to go back to calling the Gulf of Mexico, “Chalchiuhtlicueyecatl”. It is what the Nahuatl People originally called it as it is the domain of the goddess Chalchiuhtlicue, who is assoc w/water bodies, including the Gulf of Mexico.

People care. People are fighting. Please don't think that no one cares. Please fight back where you can. Maybe you can't march. Call your reps. Reach out to local orgs to volunteer, or donate what you have. Build ties in your community. There is something you are good at. Use it to fight for good.
