Parents heard unconfirmed reports that ICE agents were frightening children at our local schools, and hundreds showed up at the state capitol tonight because this community will not stay silent.

America’s strength is that certain rights apply to all persons, not just citizens. Due process, equal protection, education, and labor rights all still matter. That’s something to be proud of.

REMINDER: The Supreme Court ruled that Border Patrol can use someone's perceived race, language, and job title as reasonable suspicion that somebody is here illegally. This policy is used to target and harass minority groups even when they are US citizens.
