The people who'll tell you today's murder victim in Minnesota shouldn't have turned up to a protest carrying a gun are the same people who said Kyle Rittenhouse was perfectly entitled to do the same thing.

Warning. Author Clare Malone is clearly a Bari Weiss partisan. While there is some critical material, the article whitewashes most of the Weiss and Weiss-adjacent controversies. It is also loaded with gush about Weiss from anonymous sources, as well as from Weiss's wife.

There's no reference to surgery in the reporting, so this is most likely just a bruise. No word on the size or the location on the torso, which is a pretty big area. If it's near the join of the arm that was holding his weapon, it could be from the recoil of firing shots.

What happened in Minneapolis last week was horrifying. An ICE agent killed a U.S. citizen, a mother ā under a federal administration that has fueled fear and division instead of safety. Itās time to say clearly: not in my community. We reject this rhetoric, and we will keep each other safe.
