I started using an AI image detector and ran questionable book covers on my wishlist through it. Well, my to-buy list is now significantly smaller. I wish I had thought to do this sooner as I had bought a fair number of books with AI covers that I hadn't pegged as AI. Indie authors, do better.

I was at the Salida Fiber Festival this weekend and it's one of my favorite festivals. It's in a park by a river and the vibe is chill and relaxing. They do such a great job selecting vendors. Really high caliber and a good mix. And the town is great! If you're in CO, don't skip this fiber festival!

That said, there will be a wool shortage in the US. There already is a wool shortage. Millwool has been out of my go-to bases since July. Shep's was so backed up I didn't get fiber in time for a show despite ordering a month earlier. And they are 100% domestic wool. It's going to be bad, folks.
