Article just out in Journal of Breast Imaging detailing our experience with iodinated contrast reactions in women having contrast-enhanced mammography: more frequent at first exposure and usually mild, but new reactions happen every year and can be delayed up to one week. doi.org/10.1093/jbi/...

For women who have had breast cancer, be aware of higher risk of second breast cancers and higher risk of miss on mammography. Consider adding screening MRI, esp. if diagnosed before age 50 or with dense breasts. Contrast mammography is an option in some centers. www.ajronline.org/doi/epdf/10....
