The little Meanjin collection that I helped bring into the world as editor. Just a fragment of its 85-year catalogue. What an act of bone-stupid arrogance to kill it.

I've seen ABC refer to the Nazi rallies as "anti mass immigration rallies" over and over, exactly what Nazis want labelled as, legitimising them. In contrast, not once have I heard the Palestine rallies called anti-genocide or anti-colonial. I wonder what that's about 🙄

I will do my very best to make Linda Reynolds’ name an insult of the worst kind. When vets empty impacted anal glands, they will say “Ugh. That was a real Linda Reynolds.”

As you contact the Australian Special Envoy for Combatting Antisemitism to express your concerns about the manner in which they're using your taxpayer funds, this statement from the Jewish Council might be useful (some other resources linked below might also be of interest)

The opening paragraph in Antisemitism Envoy Jillian Segal's Foreward ignores 65,000+ years of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander presence in Australia. Expunging a people's presence on the land, their culture and history? Deeply disturbing.

, I haven’t had official confirmation that my FF account was hacked, but the flood of emails urging action on overdue tolls, wayward Auspost parcels and bank account logins appears to confirm that it was. It seems the hackers are willing to pay their staff overtime

Dutton today: “I’ve never done well at shares, which is why I probably followed my mum & dad’s advice to stick to property” Narrator: He's such an everyday, apple-pie sort of guy who's always failed with shares - except for that 1 time in Jan 09 when he randomly invested in 3 banks.
