Just heard the loud bonk of a young starling flying into the window. We ran outside to check if it was okay, and my cat Totoro was sitting next to a stunned starling, just chilling with it. I checked the starling over, and it was a bit stunned, but flew off successfully after a minute.

Managed to get through the entire day without a nap and also cleaned and mopped the kitchen floor, so I guess I am superhuman now.

Our car is fixed! We had to get a new clutch kit, but between that and the towing it was less than £450, which is a relief, as we sure as fuck can't afford to buy a new old car.
