Pose dolls are kinda fine for things like perspective, exploring new angles on a pose or nailing positioning in thumbs, etc. But be cautious w/ drawing over them wholesale, because esp the CSP ones, look awkward + stiff af, and don't take into account muscle movements, squish or torso flexibility.

I can usually tell when a mangaka has switched to digital in the middle of a series because I'll suddenly notice all these background characters that were clearly larger drawings sized down. It looks more cohesive if you stick to the same/similar brush size when drawing smaller figures.
