If you send a microphone off to be repaired, and the repair person diagnoses a high noise floor in a valve mic as due to a failing capsule, but then also says "Yeah the original capsule isnt available, Ill just stick a generic capsule in it" That is a red fucking flag for the entire diagnosis.
