I got a larger 17"x13" rear basket for my e-bike and took it out for the first time to Costco tonight. The 4.5 km ride took 15 minutes (diverting a couple blocks to the bike route), which is comparable time to driving. I spent $195 (CAD) and the new basket was about 2/3 full. Win! 🚲😀

I called around six Metro Vancouver bike stores looking for something today, and a stunning number of them were incredibly terse/gruff/rude on the phone. Credit to Trek Burnaby and West Point Cycles (Main St) for not being awful.
