Something very yellow for #FingerpostFriday spotted on a recent walk through the extremes of Notting Hill.

Spent most of the day walking 25km around Shepherds Bush and Notting Hill in London to add to my #CityStrides LifeMap which meant deliberately walking down a few dead-ends, one of which led to the fabulous Woodstock Studios, once owned by BBC. A delightful discovery.

The BBC is an apartheid propaganda outlet. The editors deserve to face justice and prison.

An unexpected, and very welcome, view of a Hindu temple when exploring unwalked streets in Alperton on the way to Wembley from Acton. Walking in London is a constant joy because of encounters like this.

I went to see Emma at @rosetheatre2008.bsky.social with modest expectations given the source material so it was a pleasant surprise to discover that it is cleverly adapted, acted superbly, staged well and was so utterly entertaining. Also good to overhear so many school kids praising it afterwards.
