It's weird to have elected leaders who say they want to crash the economy, reinstate segregation, strip human rights and create a perpetual underclass and then have people ask why are they doing this are they bad at economics ?

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

This is the second time USAID/State is punishing people revealing the truth that Marco is killing children. They're quite desperate to hide this fact, as if the reporters in Africa or court declarations are making it up.

This is more like an expression than a word. But it is VERY important to know if you're learning Hungarian. đ ĂĄrvĂztƱrĆ tĂŒkörfĂșrĂłgĂ©p - it means flood-resistant mirror-drilling machine. You need to know this because it is an expression that includes all the Hungarian diacritics in one handy place.

I am unhappy that Facebook is having technical issues today, because I rely on it for so much of my social life. But at the same time, it is always important to remember that technological transparency is fragile and cannot really be trusted. It tends to break down.

Weird how lots of people have attacked me on Facebook because I said that I found it "disconcerting" that Cormac McCarthy had had an infatuation with, and sex with, a 16-year-old girl. Apparently feeling "disconcerted" means that I am romanticizing and defending pedophilia.
