Future console table…if I can un-jumble the design variations in my brain and settle on one.

I made another 10”x 10” scrap/epoxy square as the first wasn’t flat (user error). Now I just need to trim the edges, do a bunch of sanding and oh yeah, build an entire table including milling up the walnut. #woodworking #scrapwood

The decisive test of our society in my lifetime was the 2024 election and our failure was spectacular and total. I will never again have any faith in the American electorate to do the obviously right thing.

Still need to trim the top, do a bunch of sanding and make a shelf for the bottom, but this will hopefully be a sturdy enough stand for the youngest’s HEAVY vintage book press.

Sharing another older piece. I cut a spalted maple slab into three sections with the intent of three table tops. They sat finished for a year before I realized they should be this. My first mitered waterfall(ish) table. A bit rough (used a circular saw) but I love it. #woodworking
