I don’t get what shifted but everything I was told growing up in the most masculine environments has shifted. If you’re great, other ppl will talk about it - you don’t have to say it. Putting other ppl down says more about you than others. Take care of ppl who need it.

In Idaho, a trans person can be sentenced to up to five years in prison if convicted of felony using-the-restroom. By comparison, simple assault is charged as a misdemeanor (up to six months in jail), and 2 DUI convictions gets you 10 days in jail in Idaho.

Filed a civil rights complaint with my insurance company. Their response, after investigating themselves, was, “we have a policy against this type of discrimination, therefore we did not discriminate.” Glad I filed with the state at the same time.
