For those interested in grabbing this all-original-content pack to convert a 1990s Chaosium book to work with Cthulhu Eternal ... sadly you can't as Chaosium have lodged an unspecific "copyright infringement" claim to DTRPG who deactivated it permanently. I guess you can do that if you are Chaosium.

It's hard to believe but recently our Cthulhu Eternal system celebrated its 4th birthday -- we released the first 3 versions of our free/open Lovecraftian TTRPG engine on 2 Feb 2022, with another in early Mar. Since then we (and others) have gone on to use these rules to publish about 50 books(!)

Over The Edge is a landmark game of surrealist horror ... although it is a bit sobering to think that the designers' dystopian musings are in many ways saner than most of the headlines one reads today. A worthy addition to any TTRPG collection, nonetheless.

If you play ANY flavour of Lovecraftian TTRPG you really should have Bayt al-Azif on your gaming shelf. Issues come along occasionally, and each is a small perfect miracle whose arrival is worth celebrating. (And yes, I do have an article in it, but it's the other stuff that makes it a must-buy)

So so fitting that this beautiful eulogy for YSDC ends with a photo of what's likely the most thorough and well-researched fan project ever created for a TTRPG, spawned from the forums of YSDC. Everybody who owns the classic campaign should own a copy ... but sadly cannot. RIP Ol' Yoggie.

A PSA from us about publishing for Cthulhu Eternal. First the TLDR: If you plan to self-publish a Lovecraftian game or adventure using our CE engine *and* you've previously released content via Chaosium's Miskatonic Repo, you should discontinue that license BEFORE releasing your CE product.

Wow, what a delightful blast from the past. Like you, I have a big collection of ICE Middle Earth titles (these, plus gems older & newer). Even though there was some quirkiness with how ICE gamified Tolkein's world there's no denying the first rate scholarship. I think that's why I love these books.

We were a little surprised (and alarmed) to read that Print-on-Demand prices on DTRPG are going to rise 3%-5% in a little over a week's time. If you had been thinking of purchasing any of our print titles, we strongly suggest getting orders before the cost increases (from LS, I believe) kick in.
