The cyberattack on The British Library in October 2023 knocked out ebooks and almost ever other computer thing there for years. Ebooks just came back. They were knocked out everywhere using the BL’s license (legal deposit libraries I think? More libraries?) Distributed physical copies matter.

My hot take is that you can leave the game any time and create your own bespoke fantasy worlds. You don't even have to leave the game, you could just do it. And you will be better for having something that is entirely your own. Nobody can lore police you if the lore is entirely your own.

I need people to know that the photos of colourful moon are not from Artemis II. They were made by a Ukrainian photographer, who enhanced the colours of the moon's surface to represent its mineral composition. I can't stand to see an individual work be misattributed and misrepresented like this.

This is such a great photo. Probably the best of all the #ArtemisII photos. Diversity, international collaboration, humanities, science, art, engineering, the desire for exploring, the drive of human curiosity, the reward of years of dedicated hard work, and just pure joy. It's all in there.
