FYI: I am hearing that it would be a very good idea to log into research.gov and download copies of things like award letters if you have active NSF grants. I also recommend grabbing PDFs/screenshots of public abstracts for NSF awards in case that database goes away.

A reminder that NSF is explicitly breaking the law if/when they attempt to cancel grants that focus on promoting participation in science by underrepresented groups on that basis, incl women in science programs like NSF ADVANCE. Congress expressly directs the NSF to grant funds for this purpose. 🧪

Just heard that an R01 developing guidelines for doing genetic research on trans, nonbinary, & gender diverse people, of which I was on the executive board and participating in data collection and analysis, was cancelled in our second year of funding.
