Forests are more than just wood and are important for the water balance. The groundwater beneath a forest is clean, oxygen-rich and excellent for producing drinking water. That is why forests are particularly often also water protection areas. 💚🌿☘️🌱🌲🌳🍀💚

If govt agencies were actually concerned about communities burning down in wildfires, they'd follow the science & work to reduce risks immediately around infrastructure that is at risk. Instead, they push commercial logging in the hinterlands as a false solution. Don't buy into their scam. 🌏
