Just for fun I mocked up a setlist for the final Outlaw Tour leg—using the same framework he's been using, but swapping similar songs into each slot. All songs that are at least plausible (ie he's played them in the past, often a lot) Imagine if the next set looked like this:

60 years ago today, Bob Dylan played his second-ever full "going electric" show at the Hollywood Bowl. Bob Eubanks (yep, the host of The Newlywed Game) was an LA radio DJ and concert promoter back then. He told me how the show came about.

Credit to DMB doing a Full Album performance as a total surprise, with no advance hype/buildup, is the only cool way to do it. I've seen the Decemberists pull that move twice (once Crane Wife, once Hazards of Love) and the White Stripes once (Get Behind Me Satan)
