Training Apple Foundation Models is not the same thing as a complete replacement. Google is not running Apple features. That isn't what's happening nor what the statement said

This is interesting, Apple has come out with a rather vague statement, but it changes very little about what I've been writing about Apple Intelligence this past year. It's still Apple Foundation Models powering Siri and other features, but these models will have been trained in part with Gemini.

There needs to be more people going back to posts from November 2024 to February 2025 with people saying the things he "would never do" and sharing them now for public shaming.

Apple Card needs new categories or custom ones. "Shopping" and "Food and Drink" both don't read as "groceries" and worse, they both also read as "groceries." Add utilities, groceries, subscriptions, and media and I'd be happy.

Love this kind of work. These decisions are tough and personal, so don't let anyone tell you you're doing it the wrong way. Some services you are forced into because of work, others are where your friends or family live. Leaving a platform, app, or service isn't always cut and dry.
