Sadie 2025 Year in Review This year, I edited over 200,000 words (not counting the books I edited at my previous day job!), wrote over 175,000 words of a personal project, and achieved some incredible career goals, including overseeing a couple of very special cookbooks & joining an amazing team. 💖

I think I was born to be a GM. I'm gleefully spending my Christmas evening making a little campaign primer for a new game I want to run. It has to be perfect!!

I was just feeling like I didn't do enough this year, and then I read this article. My name's in the credits of three of these titles. I'm so proud of them, and so happy where my road has taken me. Congratulations to every game on this list! What a spectacular lineup.

Feeling amazing as I soon close out a couple weeks working in-person with my team. What could've been exhausting was instead energizing and inspiring. TTRPG folks are scrappy, dedicated, passionate, creative, and always giving their best. What a privilege and honor it is to do this work with them.

Last year at a work White Elephant gift exchange, I went second. I got this awful gag gift no one wanted—people even commented how bad they felt for me—and I had to sit and watch as everyone stole the gift I brought b/c I put a ton of thought & effort into mine. My recipient was thrilled with it.
