Scapania nimbosa 😍 Found one small patch of this fabulous liverwort whilst exploring the incredible hepatic mat communities up on Mount Brandon.

Out on the Dingle peninsula for the new year. This happens to be the only known locality in Ireland for Sibthorpia europaea (Cornish Moneywort). Dropped in on one of the lovely populations today 😍

A frosty #NewYearPlantHunt around Castletroy and University of Limerick, in my Vice-County. 34 species in bloom! Lamium purpureum, Valerianella spp, Petasites pyrenaicus, Medicago lupulina just a few examples! Spent 2 hours recording, starting at -3 degrees Celsius! @bsbibotany.bsky.social
