I've learned over this latest run of recording that I need to keep whatever I'm doing direct and close to the heart. Otherwise, I won't be giving it my all. Example: I've rewritten lyrics for one of the songs from kind of like a sarcastic commentary type of thing to basically, "nah fuck you die"

My runner-up for my AOTY 2024 goes to Heriot with Devoured by the Mouth of Hell! A very anticipated debut album, Heriot have carved a sound from raw brutal metalcore drenched in a dark industrial atmosphere, playing to the strengths of each creator within the band. A stunning first album! 🧡

Today's AOTY entry goes to Jerry Cantrell. I Want Blood is a brilliant work of art by a legendary artist who has never lost the hunger and drive to make creatively satisfying art. Jerry is an inspiration and continues to add to his already stunning legacy.

Today's AOTY entry goes to Vitriol with Suffer and Become! Technically proficient death metal with the mind and soul of black metal, showcasing torment and anguish in frantic genius. Vitriol are something very different for modern death metal whilst raising the standard of savagery.
