Iām hearing that dem leadership is not wanting to focus on the special elections in Florida next week, because they think itās too much of a long shot⦠but given the 18-20 point swings in the last two recent special elections, I think this attitude is beyond foolish. We need to apply pressure.

I think some in the Senate have convinced themselves that the backlash to folding will be limited to āthe leftā and therefore ignorable. Those people are deeply and profoundly misreading the moment and the stakes. Virtually every swing district House Dem walked the plank to vote NO for a reason.

Outgoing Senator Kirsten Sinema has been using campaign funds for personal expenses and luxury vacations. She's been living the good life while sticking it to low wage workers and unions. Fingers-crossed CREW'S ethics complaint will result in accountability.

In 2023, UnitedHealthcare reported $22 billion in profits. They also lead the field in claim denials. And theyāre not alone. Health insurance companies are in the business of denying our healthcare. They profit off the suffering of you and your loved ones. Prove me wrong!

Today, we hold the victims of the Sandy Hook shooting and their families in our hearts. It's been 12 years. The scourge of gun violence is still horrific. The Democratic Party must remain steadfast to our commitment to commonsense gun violence preventionāand protecting kids.
