Today, we’ve announced £39bn of investment in a new 10-year affordable homes programme alongside a 10-year rent settlement. Boosting investment and providing certainty to deliver on our promise of the biggest increase in social and affordable housebuilding in a generation.

Another week at my happy place on the Isle of Bute. Did you know that the island has a community owned forest, pub (fab!), orchard & garden. Every beach has free toys to use. It also has its own beer & gin as well as a brilliant butcher with home reared beef & lamb. What more you could you ask for?!
