In Oxford, where construction is booming, so is pavement parking of construction worker vans. But it's a general problem with SUVs, delivery vans, utilities having starring roles. And enforcement of double yellow lines is minimal. We need an enforced ban.

Today marks the 5th anniversary of the end of the consultation on pavement parking, carried out under the last government. We've seen no action when it comes to standing up for people walking and wheeling, who are unable to go about their daily lives safely and easily.
